Wednesday 29th June
Guests arrive during the day and dinner with wines will be taken at the Domaine de Saint Sauveur.
Thursday 30th June
Special introduction of the teams/riders day and a celebration of the Tour de France.
The day starts with breakfast
 Morning tour to Vouvant the city of painters and chance to stroll through the village at leisure. This is one of the most beautiful villages in France accredited by the French tourist board.
Lunch in a fabulous auberge at the highest point in the Vendée with outstanding views of the whole region.
Arrive at the Puy Du Fou with our private passes for a celebration of the start of Tour De France and introduction of all the teams and riders.
Dinner at a renowned local restaurant.
Friday 1st July
Wine tasting tour and châteaux of the Vendée
The day starts with breakfast
 Depart for Mareuil Sur Lay the premier wine producing area of the Vendée and a tour of various châteaux of the Vendée for some wine tastings and to learn a little about the regional wine production. Lunch of local produce with tastings taken at the most famous local chateau.
Evening bbq supper with wines and beers at the accommodation.
Saturday 2nd July
1st day Le Grand Depart Tour De France
The day starts with breakfast
We will watch the start of the days action on television in a local bar before departing to take up our prime vantage point on the route and savour the atmosphere.
The caravan will pass us over a few hours before the riders race by in the quest for the first Yellow jersey of the race.
A champagne picnic lunch will be provided to mark the 1st day of the tour.
Dinner at a local much acclaimed lakeside restaurant follows that evening.
Sunday 3rd July
2nd Day Special Time Trial Day
Breakfast
Depart for Les Essarts for the new 23 km time trial
A picnic lunch will be provided with wines / beers etc
Return to the Domaine for dinner and to reflect on the days events.
Monday 4th July
After breakfast guests will depart at their leisure.
Package information
Vendee Events host the event and tour guides will be with guests at all times.
Accommodation is located at the Domaine De Saint Sauveur, Mouilleron-en-Pareds, 85390 Vendée, France. The Domaine has been recently restored and situated in one and a half hectares of private grounds and dominates the village skyline.
